Welcome to the Orange County In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority Web site. The County of Orange Board of Supervisors with the establishment of an Ordinance on February 5, 2002, created the Orange County In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authority. The Public Authority's general functions are to establish a Registry of IHSS Providers for IHSS Consumers, conduct recruitment and screening of Providers, facilitate training for both IHSS Consumers and Providers, and assist Providers with the new IHSS enrollment requirements effective 11/1/09.
