APS is directed at preventing or remedying neglect, abuse or exploitation of elder adults (65 or older) and dependent adults (physically or mentally impaired 18-64 year olds) who are unable to protect their own interests. Please click here for more information about APS.
In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) at 714-825-3000 (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
IHSS includes a wide range of services to meet individual need and assure you can live safely at home. Please click here for more information about how to qualify for and how to obtain IHSS services.
Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) has been halted.
FLSA regarding IHSS overtime, travel time and wait time has been HALTED effective immediately due to a Federal Judge’s ruling. Please do not submit any FLSA forms that you have received from the State or Orange County IHSS, as they will no longer be accepted.
Also, all trainings effective January 16,2015 have been canceled.
The timesheets that are currently being used( as of January 1, 2015) will continue to be the timesheet used. However, Providers need only record their daily work time as they did prior to January 1, 2015. Please ignore any reference to overtime, travel time or claimed hours.
Important timesheet information: Effective January 1, 2015 your timesheet and paycheck will be sent to your separately in different envelopes. Do not expect them together.
