February 9, 2015  OC Animal Care Volunteers Recognized with the County's Excellence in Volunteerism Award!The Excellence in Volunteerism Award recognizes County of Orange volunteers who generously apply their time, talents and expertise in meeting community needs and challenges. Volunteers listed below were recently selected to receive the award for outstanding volunteer contributions to OC Community Resources, OC Animal Care.

February 2, 2015  Annual Report Highlights Volunteer, Intern & Reserve Involvement Countywide!During FY 2013/14, 18,213 individuals donated their time, energy and expertise to County of Orange volunteer, intern and reserve programs and contributed more than 720,767 hours of service. The value of their volunteer efforts can be seen throughout our community and is measured monetarily at an estimated $19 million in avoided costs for County government.
